INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FORESTS

I have chosen the “International Day of Forests” because I think that is an interesting event.

This event is celebrated on the 21st of March, and it was created in 2011, so it is a very recent festivity. The activities that you can do on this day include tree planting and other community events, which are different in each place. Also on this day you can take photos or do videos related with the topic of things that you can do to save the planet from the deforestation and things like that.

This event was created by the organization that is called United Nations Forum on Forests and with collaboration of FAO, which means “Food and Agriculture Organization”.

There is an email address of the organization of this event, and you can send an email saying why you want to participate in this event and what things you are going to do to contribute to save the world from the people who destroy the trees.

So if you want to help the world, you only have to respect it and participate in protecting it, so that we have Nature and not a lot of factories everywhere in the future.

There is a label that is called Wastewise, and this label help Hong Kong bussinesses and organisations to reduce the amount of waste generated in factories. You can also help recycling at home things like domestic waste participating in a program that is called "Sour separation of domestic waste".
